Anshe Emet Men's Club hosts a kayaking on the Chicago River event every year.
Regional retreat, regional Man/Youth of the Year, and annual FJMC Convention
PROGRAMMING
Programs may be one-time events or ongoing endeavors. Please briefly describe program.
We do several programs with the Anshe Emet Sisterhood including outings to shows and a Passover Wine Tasting and Sale
Men's Club Shabbat service. Instruction to Jews By Choice class on morning minyan and tefillin.
We host a Yom HaShoah program with the Simon Wiesenthal Center that is open to the community.
Subsidize $50 of cost of each of 10 pair of tefillin for purchase by Bnai Mitzvah children and members. Passover wine sale.
Annual Shabbat morning service done entirely by Men's Club.
Jews By Choice class: 2 Men's Club Board members did introduction about Men's Club; instruction on morning minyan and tefillin
Held a religious discussion group with one of our Rabbis in a park overlooking Lake Michigan at sunset.
Several sports event outings and annual talent show were children frequently attend and participate with parents.
Hosted a presentation by an NFL celebrity with a local Bnai Brith lodge. Hosted Yom HaShoah program with Simon Weisenthal Center
Subsidized $500 toward the purchase of tefillin from FJMC.
