The Yellow Candle™ Program presents a valuable opportunity for you to model the ritual of lighting a yartzeit candle with your family and friends and remember a victim who perished in the Holocaust.  

• The program provides the Men's Club or other participating groups with an educational purpose and a significant project upon which to focus. The program is an excellent vehicle for training its members and cultivating volunteers.
• Synagogues and Organizations. The program benefits the synagogue or organization because it unites the congregation through an inter-generational effort and focuses on Shoah programming.
• Communities. The program benefits the community by bringing together the resources that Men's Clubs and other organizations have at their disposal to aid and assist your community in its observances and make the public more aware of the lessons learned from the Shoah.
• Charities.  Yellow Candle programs can be a source of funding for other meaningful programs related to Yom HaShoah.  Some clubs target funds for local Holocaust memorials, libraries, gardens, Holocaust Museum trips, and scholarships for educational programs.
